I’m glad, it’s weird. I tend to take things personally sometimes, like if someone were to say they hated it here, I would take it to heart. I’m not sure why I’m going on about this. I don’t want to keep you from whatever it is you need to attend.

I don’t have anything to attend, though, don’t worry.

Okay, just stop me if I am. So a month? That’s still pretty new, and you’ll like the people here. They’re nice.

Yeah, they seem like good people. I like it here so far.

ooc: he’s a faerie/vampire hybrid but he doesn’t tell anyone because he doesn’t want to be feared and/or treated differently because of what he is.

Nice to meet you. What is it you meant by not exactly new? Sorry, stop me if I’m being nosey.

It’s fine. I’ve been living here for a month or so, but was busy with some things so didn’t really have time to get to know anybody.

One of the many reasons? What are some of the other reasons? XD Inquiring minds want to know! (and yes, yes they are … sorry, I just like fangirling over my ships haha)

well I don’t know if I can put it in to words, but they’re sweet and they look really good together and they’re like both tough and strong and I dunno. I just ship it. Really hard.

I just think it’s so aslkhgkja;lkjdfs cuz she brings out the tenderness in Jeff (her and Hatch); and Faith always feels so old and tired, but Jeff brings out the forgotten teen in her (she grew up too fast cuz her mom died when she was little).

yeah I agree, that’s one of the many reasons why I ship them, also just because they’re absolutely adorable.

Nice to meet you, Jasper. Oh right, I guess i didn’t introduce myself. My name’s Diana, and I’m just going to go ahead and say I’m a human, that way you won’t have to ask.

Oh, right. I’m, euh, I’m a vampire.

Getting Settled || Open

jas-loveless:

Jasmine looked up at him surprised he was being so nice to her. Then again she generally avoided people. “Oh um hi,” she said nervously brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. “I’m Jasmine…Jas…most people call me Jas,” she said with a thoughtful nod as she took his hand. She really did need to start talking to people more. She was starting to see how horrible she was at it. “Nice to meet you Jasper.” She said as she bit her lip.

She could fell that he wanted to comfort her, it was a nice thing to know. She felt herself liking him a little more because of it. She also felt he was nervous, like he might be hiding something. But that didn’t really bother Jas, she didn’t like to give herself away either. “So,” she said glancing around. “I’ve just moved here, that’s probably why we haven’t met. I live in the faerie part of town, it’s nice there…I should really stop talking now.” She said with a nervous smile. She hated how awkward she was sometimes.

“Nice to meet you, too,” Jasper said with a swift smile, pulling his hand back from the handshake. He’d met a lot of nice people in Sunnybrooke already. Well, most of them were nice, there were a handful of unpleasant people, but there wasn’t a place in the world without them.

Jasper laughed at Jas’ awkwardness, but it was happy and bright laugh, not a mean one at all. “I’m relatively new, too,” Jasper said, “but I don’t go to the faerie part of town very often.” He didn’t like being there, where everyone could feel what he was feeling and knew that he was hiding something.

Yeah, I thought since it’s been so gloomy these past couple of days. You know with everything going on and all…Everyone could use a little brightening up.

Good idea, you definitely managed to achieve it. It’s beautiful.

theme by heloísa teixeira

Jasper was born to a vampire and a faerie twenty-one years ago, but he hides the fact that he is a faerie as he knows others would be afraid of him if he revealed what he was. As a vampire/faerie hybrid, he has the powers of both species and is therefore rather dangerous, as his powers are immense. So he hides them, preferring to pass as a regular vampire than to be singled out as someone to be afraid of (which might seem like a contradiction, if he didn’t live in Sunnybrooke).
